Will there be a WoW killer anytime soon?

Stargate Worlds may have some potential there if only because of the enormous fanbase that the Stargate tv series' has had, gameplay sounds fairly promising on it as well

    All the private server that keep appearing and slowly steal more and more retail players might be the end of the retail warcraft in time.

     

    But I seriously doubt there will come a game or whatever that will actually 'kill' WoW, WoW is well known and will most likely only end if blizzard decides to just shut down all the servers.

    Perhaps Aion Towers of Eternity. They retooled the entire thing (including allt he quests) specifically for the American fan-base. The only problem I forsee is an equipment issue. Aion's graphics engine requires some serious horsepower under the hood. I'll be joining the Beta this summer and I'll keep you posted.

    Hello Iam a Beta tester for SG worlds I personally would not bet on SGW beating WoW at all. I cant go into detail as to why, only that there on things in there game that piss me off.

     The only ones that i see with any major promise are Stargate Worlds and Star Wars: The Old Republic, the latter might take some time before it's out though.
