Joined my brother's guild, but it's a PvE guild. There are people who claim to like PvP, but they seem anti-social. Like, this weekend, we had 3 people playing the same BG, but none of them were with other guildies. I tried suggesting we team up, even delayed my messages in case they were missing them in the BGs due to people talking, but nothing. Maybe they were with other people outside the guild, but some sort of response would have been nice.
There's a priest who does respond from time to time, but his response is always "I'll go if there's a group." Now, 1. 2 people makes a group imo. And 2. I'm plate. Of all the possible classes for a healer to start a group with, would a plate class (or feral bear) be the best way to start?
Not only that, but the guild tends to make personal attacks. I have been kicked from this guild several times, but as a joke (you know, you ask a question, your GM gives you a sarcastic answer while someone provides a good one, you tell the GM that the other guy is better, he kicks you, and laughs are had). I made a comment about "the best movie [he had seen] this year" and he went nuts. At first, I thought he wanted a serious conversation, but it turns out, he was after blood since I had apparently hurt his feelings. When I tried to discuss this, he just stopped talking.
I'm starting to remember why I left this game.
And that GM sounds like a real p.o.s with a soft skin
