GameFriends was created with the focus on satisfying Gamers. The founders of this company had a vision not based in dollar signs, but rather based in an enjoyable experience for Gamers. For this reason, GameFriends shares its Revenue with all its members using Google Adsense. Members make the community and deserve to reap the rewards rather than some big corporation which allows its members to post amazing content and receive no reward.

Passion

GameFriends was founded by brothers Dan Anton and Matt Anton as a privately funded venture. Together they have over 25 years of online gaming experience. They are gamers, and therefore strive to give the best gamer friendly community/service based website for gamers. The two brothers began work on GameFriends in Jan 2006 but the idea for the site came back in 1999 during their first year of playing EverQuest.

Founders

Dan Anton

Dan has been playing video games for over 20 years and in 1999 became seriously interested in a way to connect gamers on a much bigger scale. Putting his vision aside for some years after college, Dan joined the Military and became an Army, Ranger. After completing 2 tours in Iraq where he achieved the rank of Captain, Dan is ready for new challenges. Today, with a strong background in Games, Business, Computer Science, and Managerial skills, Dan has been pioneering a new way for Game Players to interact with each other.

Matt Anton

Matt has been playing video games for over 20 years and has worked in the industry as a consultant for 7 years. He is an expert in the field of marketing, finance, and trend analysis. In addition, he is a certified Google Advertising Professional. Matt has either worked on most aspects of what you see today or worked very closely with Dan in the development stage. Matt's passion for gaming has committed him to ensuring GameFriends remains about the Gamers and not the 'Bottom Line'. His knowledge of the genre will continue to improve GameFriends and the users' experience.
