Oh I remember those days. Those wonderful glorious days of youth. Where everything was new and exciting. Not a care in the world...
Im gonna go ahead and just blame my father for my gaming addiction/hobby/whatever you want to call it. He brought that atari into my life and started a chain of events that would ultimately lead to me writing this blog some 20+ years later. Its all his fault.
Nah, that makes me sound ungrateful. No, I do appriciate my gaming roots. I had most of the consoles throughout the years and had a ton of fun with my friends. I look back with fond memories. Lets see here... Pong, galaxia, adventure (the one with those freakin scary dragons that would chomp the life out of you! all 5 of your arrowy pixels) astroids, all the marios, duck hunt, the konami code of epicness, too many to list and thats just the old school goodness. My N64 dang near burned out with the gem of Goldeneye, what pure FPS perfection that game was and is. I still think back at how intense those cheat unlock time trials were. Would literally cause my body to shake with nervousness.
Gaming has touched my life in a profound way, thats not to say it has been all good though. Next time I will go into the negatives of being a gamer and maybe do some good ol venting about my frustrations.
Till then
